Batman Parallel Universes?!

Hey y'all!
So this week's theme is one of my favorite fictional heroes of all times: THE batman. I'm a huge fan of his, so I know a few things about him (via the website many of us use-wikipedia!). Did you know there were comics that portrayed different versions of batman and how he came to be (or not be). Some of my particular favorites explore the beginning and end of this legend. I will talk about my top two:

1) Now, you can always search it up on google (Batman #686), but we follow a man's voice as we stroll through the city streets. The man is confused, feeling a detachment to this place-yet he also sense a strange nostalgia from the setting. It is unsettling, and we suddenly hear the smoothing voice of a woman. The man, still very confused, questions the woman. She responds by pointing out a small, clandestine gathering of an interesting group of people-who we learn to be the Joker, Penguin, Catwoman, Two-Face, you name it! It turns out that they are all gathered for a funeral-Batman's funeral-and thats when it hits the man. He was Batman. While trying to understand what is going on, the woman requests that Bruce Wayne/Batman simply listens. Each character then presents his/her story of Batman's death (and not surprisingly, they differ drastically). I'm not going to spoil it for you fellow Batman fans, but let me tell you know-it is amazing. Crazy thing-at one point in the comic, Alfred put on that wicked smile and became the Joker himself. (You heard right).

2) To make this concise, I will just give you guys the gist of things-this is about how Batman was created as a result of Bruce Waynes death. (Du Du Du DUHHHH) I hear this was an idea in the making, so I'm not too sure that this is even a real thing. Exiting the movie theatre, the Wayne family encountered a thug, and the thug shot Bruce Wayne accidentally. As the parents witness their only son be murder right in front of their eyes, the mother wept frantically and the father solemnly despaired. Crumbling under the emotional weight, the mother became crazed-she became the Joker. On the other hand, the father wanted to prevent thing from happening ever again thus becoming the Batman.

Anyways fellow Batman fanatics, I just wanted to let you guys know about some of my favorite Batman spin offs and if you already knew-awesome!
Talk to you guys lates!
Vivian
