The Beginning of my bucket list!

Hallooooo people and again, welcome to a dose of doozy :)
So for the past two months, I had my summer filled with a ton of work and volunteering opportunities. I worked with a couple of high schoolers and boy did they have a ton of sass! While that part of my summer was a great experience-working with sassy high schoolers and learning/teaching about a topic I knew nothing about (environmental justice)-I finally have some time for myself! As in myself, I don't mean me, myself, and I, but I mean me, my family, and friends.
Because the topic of this post is "bucket list", I gotta talk about it! I think that everyone should have bucket lists that range from activities that can be done more or less easily (learning how to hoola hoop) to crazy what-the-heck-thats-awesome activities (like hiking up Mt. Fuji, traveling to Morocco, learning another language!) They represent what we want to do in the short and long term, which is pretty convenient for several reasons.

Reasons to have a bucket list:
1) It shows us what we consider top priority or at least some what important.
2) It can encourage us to achieve these things because we now know what we want to run after.
3) By completing a bucket list, we feel awesome for doing something we might have never done (or were planning to do for some time!)

I have a TON of bucket lists-some that I share with friends, some with my younger brother/parents, and some just for me. I'll talk a little about the one I'm working on this summer (drum roll please!):

Trying every local ice cream shop in the city!

That may seem weird, but I LOVE quality ice cream :)
A little ice cream shop called Bi-Rite (Some flavors include balsamic strawberry, ginger, snickerdoodle, etc)
I have this one friend who goes on all these adventures with me to traverse the streets of San Francisco, ride the public transportation, and feast on the oh so yummy ice cream. Let me tell you guys some of the weird flavors I've encountered  (because sampling these weird flavors is a reason we put this as number one on the summer bucket list). I'll start from normal to plain and simple weird.
tahitian vanilla
mexican chocolate
honey lavender
olive oil
salt and pepper
maple black pepper
secret breakfast (burbon, cereal flakes, etc)

Some flavors from a quaint ice creamery called Humphrey Slocombe

Anyways, just wanted to tell you guys about my ice cream mini adventures and MORE IMPORTANTLY highlight the fact that everyone should create a bucket list and just go for it (no matter how silly it may be).

Talk to you guys soon :)
