This is a continuation of the previous post. I will discuss a few more dramas I believe are worth the hours of staring at the computer screen. Again, these are not in any particular order.
Genera: Romance, drama, family, wealth vrs. poor
This drama embodies elements of Cinderella. The stepmother and stepsisters are skillfully portrayed to the point where you watch the drama just to see their ploy fail. The romance between the main characters is also interesting. The main focus is on making the guy into a better person rather than running away together or acting all lovely dovey. The audience really comes to admire the protagonist for her strong will and ability to overcome adversity. We all wish we can influence people like she does!

Genera: High school, romance, drama wealth vrs poor
The Cinderella plot is super popular, and as you may have noticed after watching a lot of dramas, the main story line does not change much. This is very similar to Boys Over Flowers. However, the male lead is trying to be a good person (what?!), and he doesn't have a groupie. If you really liked Boys Over Flowers, then I highly recommend this drama. It's still about high school, popularity struggles, and responsible female being pursued by immature but rich boys. It never gets old!
City Hunter
Genera: Action, Romance, Revenge, Mystery
Lee Min Ho is quite talented! In this drama he portrays a highly skilled spy who graduated from MIT and is working for the monarchy. He is on a mission to uncover the mystery behind his father's death and family's separation. His surrogate father orders him to kill certain officials. Throughout the drama we see Lee Yoon-Sung (Lee Min Ho) struggle between what he thinks is right and following orders. His chemistry with Park Min-young is ok. They share some good moments. There was also rumor that they dated after a while during the filming, but that's no surprise. This drama is very much about finding who you are and the truth behind your history, and letting things go to be happy.
My Girl
Genera: Romance, Rich vrs. Poor, Love Triangle, Family
